Zaijan Jaranilla plays the role of Lorenzo or Enzo, a child who was stricken by “Progeria.” According to the US National Library of Medicine website, “Progeria is a rare genetic condition that produces rapid aging in children.” It is “a rare condition that is remarkable because its symptoms strongly resemble normal human aging, but occur in young children.” Progeria is also known as Hutchinson-Gilford progeria syndrome or HGPS.
